Dr. Kennedy is a psychiatrist, a physician specialist in treating mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression and attention deficit disorder. As a holder of doctorate degrees in both clinical medicine and neuroscience research, Dr. Kennedy is among the most highly qualified psychiatrists in the US. He is Board Certified in Psychiatry by the ABPN and holds a faculty position of Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Telehealth services make accessing treatment easy and convenient for patients wherever they are within the state of California. Sometimes work or personal commitments make traveling to the office difficult Telepsychiatry via a HIPAA secure video platform allows patients greater flexibility and makes it easier to keep up with regular appointments.

Unfortunately, we are not in network with any insurance plans but we will work with our patients to help them maximize their out-of-network insurance benefits. We will provide you with a ‘superbill’. Many patients can receive reimbursement for a substantial proportion of their fees, according to their plan benefits.

The first appointment is a full psychiatric evaluation, lasting up to 90 minutes. We will review your symptoms and make a plan for treatment. Follow up appointments are typically 30 minutes in duration but may be 50 minutes, if we decide that psychotherapy would be beneficial in your treatment.
